Down in the dungeons lies the Slytherin Common Room. Those cunning, and pure of blood dwell here. Slytherins only, although I don't think anyone else would want to come in here anyway.

In potions you will learn to make many different sorts of potions, but you have to be sure to follow directions and listen as it is a very complex subject.

The Dungeon doesn't have very many corridors, but the corridors it does have are very narrow. If you aren't a Slytherin be careful to when it comes to the time you decide to wander them.

This is where the beginning and end of each year takes place. The sorting, the feast, and the end of the year feast. All meals are eaten here, and special events take place in here too.

| The Grand Staircase
Here is the grand staircase that can lead you all around to the seven floors which Hogwarts holds. Be careful though because remember- they move.

| The Kitchens
Here is the kitchens with many house elves working hard at making the delicious meals they serve in the Great Hall. Maybe if they are feeling generous enough they will let you grab a bite of something.

| Hufflepuff Common Room (2 sub-boards)
Here is the common room for the loyal house of Hufflepuff. Inside are very comfy arm chairs and tunnels which lead into the dormitories. Hufflepuffs only! But you must know the password to get in though the portrait anyway...

This is the hospital wing. If you are injured this is the place to come and get whipped back into shape quickly. There are many comfy cots lining the walls with dividers in between them.

| Defence Against The Dark Arts
This is the classroom in which Defence Against the Dark Arts takes place in. It is a favorite of many students. Remember: Listen well, and do your homework.

| Charms
Charms classes are taken here. This class is rather fun, you just have to pay attention to learn the exact wand movements and how to say the words properly.

| The Library
The library is the neighbor to the Charms classroom. There is every book here you can imagine about the wizarding history, spells, and famous wizards. Much more too! Just remember to keep those voices down because after all it is a library.

There isn't much special about the fourth floor corridors, but I guess anywhere you can chat with your friends or wander around is fun. Once again- Don't stay out too late. You'll probably get caught.

| Prefect's Bathroom
This is the prefects bathroom. Not much people come in here because of Moaning Myrtle who died around 50 years before now in this very bathroom, but if you do decide to come in here make sure you get on her good side.

| Ravenclaw Common Room (2 sub-boards)
This is the Ravenclaw Common Room. Where the wise ones of Ravenclaw live while they are at the school. It is not like the other common rooms though, to enter you must solve a riddle. Inside though lies a statue of Rowena Ravenclaw and many comfy chairs. Ravenclaws only!

| The Room of Requirement
The Room of Requirement- the room that appears only to those in desperate need of it. Very few students know about it. This room is one of the perfect places for hiding out or of course just to hang out. Actually, it doesn't get much use either.

In one of the highest towers of the school is the Gryffindor common room. The bravest dwell here in this warm and cozy room. You must know the password to get in through the fat lady. Gryffindors only!

This is the top most floor of Hogwarts. You can see anything from the windows up here, so it is a popular place for students to hang out, especially the Gryffindors since their common room is on this floor.

| The Owlery
This is where all the owls live during the school year. If you are looking to send a owl out to a family member or whoever this is the perfect place to do so. Don't get locked in though.

| Whomping Willow
The Whomping Willow was planted the year the marauders first attended Hogwarts, for one reason only. Which only the marauders and a few of the professors and the headmasters know why. Be careful when around the tree though...

The shrieking shack is thought of haunted by most people. There is a secret passage from the Whomping Willow to this shack, but only the four marauders know about it...

| The Foribidden Forest
Well it has its name for a reason of course because it is one of the only things forbidden at Hogwarts. If you do choose to enter though be careful. There are many mysterious things lurking around in the forest, too.

| Quidditch Pitch
The house teams practice, and have quidditch matches here. There are currently no quidditch teams. The tryouts will be soon. In the meantime you can still practice for the tryouts!

This is where Hogwart's gamekeeper, Hagrid lives. He is very nice and sweet. He was a Gryffindor himself when he attended Hogwarts, but he isn't allowed to preform magic anymore...

Astronomy class? Well you are at the right place. If it is nearing night this is also a nice place to come if you would like to do some star gazing. It has a nice look over Hogwart's grounds.

Need to shop? Diagon alley happens to be the perfect place to do any kind of shopping. For a wand, pets, books, clothes. Anything really. The best protected bank is here too, so that would be the best place to put those shiny galleons.
